Leidos is seeking experienced Disclosure and Classification Management expertise for our client’s operational requirements on a mission-focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Virginia and Maryland area. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to development and implementation of Agency budgets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide consulting services in the support of the Intelligence Community’s classification management process, including reviewing intelligence information for possible declassification, disclosure, and/or release. Includes reviewing documents to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part, requests for public disclosure, and explaining those determinations to leaders and the workforce. Coordinates with designated staff to establish local records and information management business processes, helps develop classification policies and procedures, and updates security classification guides.
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Poly
Demonstrated experience in Disclosure and Classification Management process
Demonstrated experience in reviewing various products to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part
Demonstrated experience in reviewing records to determine if they can be declassified. Experience in maintaining, updating, and delivering reference tools, trainings, manuals, and user guides to educate the workforce on classification, declassification, and prepublication management
Typically requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be exchanged for degree requirements.
