1901 Group (A Leidos Company) has an exciting Release Coordinator position located in Southwest Virginia with opportunities to work remotely. POSITION SUMMARY:
Our new Release Coordinator will support cloud applications for the ATF contract. This contract uses Agile Software Development methodologies to provide major feature additions to the currently migrated applications, production support, testing, deployment, and release management leveraging DevSecOps processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate Release schedules to ensure all stakeholders are aware of the date, time and what is to be delivered
- Coordinate and/or perform scheduled Production Releases
- Coordinate and/or perform daily releases to testing environments
- Creation and Delivery of Release Notes, status updates and metrics
- Work with teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Project/Program leaders in best agile practices
- Participate and assist as needed in all team agile events: Sprint Planning, Retro, Planning, etc.
- Track and help resolve impediments / blockers that are brought up by the scrum masters.
- Manage and mitigate risk and opportunities associated with effective development and execution, to include deconflicting and prioritizing tasks.
- Assisting in coordination meetings and discussions as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve processes
- Assisting with tracking execution of features and working with the team to ensure development strategy and product execution align
- Ensuring scrum practices are followed
- Regular and consistent communication and coordination with and between stakeholders and teams.
- Collaborate with Product Stakeholders to meet mission goals.
Clearance Requirement
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; additional experience in lieu of degree
- Significant experience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
- Significant experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Experience leading teams through the delivery of capabilities (software development or infrastructure modernization) using agile methodologies
- Experience interfacing with senior management and negotiating with clients on requirements and deliverables
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent Communication skills (both written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Alliance Scrum Master Certification
- Project Management Skills
- Jira collaboration tools experience
- Digitial.AI tools experience
- Eexperience working within Agile frameworks specifically as a Release Coordinator, Scrum Master or Product Owner
Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
