Description
The Maritime System Division (MSD) of Leidos’ develops and deploys advanced technology solutions that address existing and emerging maritime missions of national importance for a broad range of customers across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, other governmental agencies and commercial clients. MSD is currently seeking a qualified, energetic technical leader to fill a leadership position on our Unmanned Surface Vessels team. This team works on distributed sensors, control systems, and the “brains” of robot boats used by a variety of customers.
As a systems engineer, the candidate will collaborate with customers and the Leidos team to understand requirements, build plans for verification, and help build product backlogs used for the advancement of Leidos’ autonomy programs. They will lead systems engineering practices across multiple programs. They will be integrated with other engineers on the team to ensure that every effort has systems engineering at the center. They will also supervise engineers working on the team, providing coaching and guidance.
Current and future projects span advanced concept and prototype development, low-rate initial production and full-rate production. Position will require regular travel to and coordination with engineering activities at other Leidos facilities, in multiple locations across the United States.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
