Description
Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Tester for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, other domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.
This position will have a hybrid work schedule, and can be worked from any of the following locations: Alexandria, VA, Salt Lake City, Utah, Dallas, TX or Melbourne, FL.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test automation strategies, integrating tools within DevOps pipelines to ensure robust software testing and deployment.
- Support testing efforts across software, hardware, and cyber domains, adhering to agile methodologies, while providing technical expertise in Java and database programming languages to support development teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and address issues promptly, while also mentoring on test automation best practices and troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Streamline deployment processes by automating regression testing and validation of software releases, leveraging continuous integration tools such as Git, and ensuring the quality and reliability of products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test automation capabilities, evaluating emerging technologies and proposing innovative solutions for optimizing testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to leverage cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and system changes for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance integration capabilities.
- Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange in support of Program Objectives
- Participate in Working Groups and IPTs, informal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviews.
- Additional responsibilities as needed by the program.
Basic Qualifications
- BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Test data management and testing automation.
- Technical expertise including knowledge of in Java and Database programming languages.
- Experience with DevOps, continuous integration tools and source control tools.
- Experience with agile development and testing methodologies.
- The ability to work on a multidisciplinary team to include Software, Hardware, and Cyber domains.
- Experience in test automation tools like REST Assured, Selenium, Junit, TestNG, SoapUI, scripting, performance, load and scanning capabilities; and comfortable with setting up automation when needed.
- US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Demonstrable knowledge of integration engineering concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
