The Public Health Portfolio of Leidos is seeking a Senior Functional Support Analyst in Atlanta, GA to support the CDC OCIO Cloud Modernization program.

This CDC OCIO Cloud Modernization program assists the CDC in migrating over 400 applications from on-premises to cloud solutions.
 

The Senior Functional Support Analyst is responsible for working with the client to understand the application’s functional requirements.

This role is remote within the United States. Candidate MUST:

be a US Citizen, be currently located in the United States and for the current three consecutive years

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Functional Support Analyst will:

• Work with the client to understand the application’s functional requirements.  Be able to translate functional requirements into user stories that can be used by the development and testing resources to develop and test the application. The Functional Analyst is expected to develop functional expertise in various aspects of the delivery lifecycle including:
• Participating in requirements sessions, creating general designs, performing assembly testing, and supporting development efforts for multiple functional areas within the team
• Providing functional support to Developers, testers, and System Analysts
• Supporting the resolution of production issues and data cleanup efforts through functional analysis and testing.

Requirements:

BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• 5+ years experience participating in requirements sessions, creating general designs, performing assembly testing, and supporting development efforts for multiple functional areas within team
• Work with external programs to understand detail requirement
• Demonstrate ability to understand public health domain and uses cases
• Well versed with agile and scrum master responsible
• Experience managing and maintain documentation, roadmaps, flows and service now.
• Having cloud knowledge is plus
• Experience with HL7, Fhir, CDA is plus ​

Strong familiarity with Jira and Confluence

Preferred:

3+ years of experience working with the CDC
