The Leidos team supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Operational Energy has an opening for an Acquisition Operational Energy Analyst at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Consideration will be made to staff this position at Scott AFB or Wright Patterson AFB; contingent on Customer approval.
Leidos supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Operational Energy) (SAF/IEN) with project management and policy support subject matter experts. Each year about $9B, or 7-8% of the Air Force budget has gone to purchase energy. Approximately 86%, or $7.2B, is operational energy (aviation fuel). The Air Force Operational Energy Program vision is to Create an energy optimized Air Force that maximizes combat capability for the warfighter.
Active Secret, eligibility for Top Secret/SCI
Primary Responsibilities:
Subject to Government approval, coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain SAF/IE’s Operational Acquisitions Energy Program governance and programmatic documents (e.g., DAFIs, policies,), action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans
Provide detailed updates to leadership and interested parties by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after action reports, minutes)
Review DoD and AF strategic guidance and directives to inform key performance parameters (KPP), capabilities-based assessments, Air Force strategic planning; support capability and requirements development, and corresponding lifecycle management processes; and PPBE activities to include OSD CAPE SNaP (Select & Native Programming) plans using existing DoD and AF processes and tools
Participate in S&T and RDT&E planning activities
Additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant USAF acquisition/operations experience.
Experience with technical writing and strong communications
Active Secret, eligibility for Top Secret/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
DoD acquisition experience, DAWAI certification, or equivalent industry experience

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
