The Mission The Leidos National Security Sector uses a wide range of capabilities to support our customers’ mission to defend against evolving threats around the world. Our team’s focus is ensuring our intelligence customers have the right tools, technologies, and tactics to keep pace with an ever-evolving security landscape and succeed in their pursuit to protect people and critical assets.
Leidos is seeking an Open-Source Intelligence Analyst to work alongside mission critical counterterrorism watch center and operations officers. The Analyst will be responsible for producing and disseminating unclassified finished intelligence products for federal, state, local, territorial, tribal, (FSLTT), and various IC partners. The Analyst will conduct all-source research to identify and monitor the nature and credibility of relevant terrorism reporting, events, threats, tactics, techniques, and procedures. The Analyst will be responsible for summarizing relevant reporting into succinct reports in support of a web portal and mobile phone application that contains breaking counterterrorism news for FSLTT partners. The Analyst will function as a counterterrorism generalist, maintaining a wide breadth of understanding and knowledge. The hours required for this position are Monday-Friday, standard business hours. The Analyst may have the option to work remotely one day a week.
Specific responsibilities include:
Proactively researching and monitoring multiple channels, including Publicly Available Information for worldwide terrorism threats and events.
Writing, contextualizing, and editing succinct situational awareness write-ups for the FSLTT audience.
Coordinating with multiple offices for the dissemination and publication of written products.
Coordinating with internal and external partners to share and gather information
Periodic engaging with external customers.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
Previous experience working with classified reporting, research, and analytical writing desired.
Excellent writing, editing, and coordination abilities in order to edit finished intelligence products.
Previous experience working within the Intelligence Community.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to coordinate with team members and external partners.
Familiarity with the FSLTT law enforcement, first responder, or military communities desired
Effective use of MS Office applications in a multi-level security settings.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of relevant experience OR a High School diploma + 9 years of relevant experience.
TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
