Overview
The qualified candidate will be the Cyberspace Operational Command and Control (C2) subject matter expert in support of the Commander, Joint Force Headquarters DODIN (USCYBERCOM) at Fort Meade, MD. As a key team member, execute in real time coordination of command correspondence, strategy and policy to enhance operations within the headquarters.
Responsibilities
Assist in synchronizing the Command through a variety of products related to the overall JFHQ-DODIN battle rhythm and strategic engagement support
Provides daily updates to senior leaders/analysts on JFHQ-DODIN battle rhythm events (e.g., CDBs, JDB, DDB, etc.) on coordinating instructions, read ahead dissemination and J3 requirements.
Convey clear tasking guidance to staff leaders/analysts for strategic engagement requirements in support of the CDR/DCOM/EXDIR (e.g., talking points, briefs, etc.); reviews, edits, consolidates and submits all strategic engagement requirements to J54 (email and TMT). Represents the CAG in selected battle rhythm events.
Conducts daily liaison with Command Group (XO/Aide), J0 staff and CAG on behalf of senior leaders.
Plans, projects and recommends briefing topics for JFHQ-DODIN battle rhythm events (e.g., CDBs, JDB, DDB, etc.)
Improve executive correspondence submissions to JFHQ-DODIN CMD Group, USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, Congressional Staffers, and DoD IG.
Synchronizes the development of weekly J3 SITREP/Bi-weekly WAR; convey guidance and provide recommendations to directorates divisions on topic selection and writing style. Reviews, edits and develops the final draft for senior leader review and submission.
Reviews and edits command inputs to Congressional, Joint Staff and DoD IG correspondence; specifically refining to ensure J3 input is complete, doctrinally sound, concise and written to a senior audience level.
Advise the J3, DJ3 and J3 SEL:
Provides solicited and unsolicited advice/recommendations for increasing the efficiency/effectiveness of the command for current, future and administrative operations.
Provides solicited and unsolicited advice/recommendations for internal and external engagements (e.g., JFHQ-DODIN Offsites, CCCC, DCO OCFs, etc.)
Scans the CDR, DCOM and EXDIR calendars, providing advice/recommendations for potential opportunities the J3 can shape and plan.
Actions/Activities in General Support of J0: As needed or as opportunity/timing presents itself, provides Chief of Staff/Deputy Chief of Staff recommendations for improving/refining staff processes.
Required Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of related experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance w/ eligibility for polygraph.
Joint Professional Military Education Phase II Certification.
Experience in COA development and analysis.
Knowledge of the Military Adaptive Planning Process.
Experience with Joint Planning Process.
Advanced communications and presentations skills (verbal and written.)
Extensive knowledge of command relationships, DoD structure, JFHQ-DODIN, DISA, and USCYBERCOM mission and structure.

Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
