Leidos currently has an opening for an Associate Contracts Representative to support our Digital Modernization Sector, specifically within the Navy & Marine Corps Business Area. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills & experience supporting a franchise Leidos program with excellent visibility within the Corporation. The selected candidate will report to the Navy & Marine Corps IT Contracts Director and support contract management and proposal activities for a portfolio component of the Business Area.
This is an individual contributor role. Additionally, this job is posted as a Hybrid (In-Office, Scheduled/Situational Telework) position within the Business Area located in Reston, VA.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide customer and subcontractor contract negotiation, administration, and close-out; subcontractor development, sourcing, and subcontractor diversity and cost management; customer and subcontractor relationship management; contract customer-requirement compliance, contract regulatory compliance, DFAR Business System (Property and MMAS) compliance, international and export compliance and contract risk management.
Portfolio will be primarily federal contracts but may also include municipal and commercial contracts.
Regularly interact with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required.
Attend early capture sessions to determine specific information and requirements to apply the correct contracts skills, techniques, methods and resources for the group thus meeting Leidos’ as well as the customer’s expectations and objectives.
Develop or review prime contract flow down documents to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements and to minimize company liability.
Support internal/external audit activities as well as data request from internal / external customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (prefer bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with executive management and staff regarding Contracts issues with high degrees of complexity and work issues to resolution
- Ability to establish relationships internally and within the Leidos community
- Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
-Ability to use multiple contracts systems, tools, and invoicing applications
Preferred Qualifications
-1 to 2 years of federal contracts, or related experience
-Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
