Leidos is seeking an Automated Litigation Support (ALS) Lab Manager to support of the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. This position may be 80% remote, but this could change at the Federal Agency's request with notice. For this reason, only individuals in and around the Washington, DC area will be considered. The Automated Litigation Support (ALS) Lab Manager serves as the lead manager responsible for delivery of lab data processing services.
Specific Responsibilities include:Manages the delivery of lab data processing services.
Ensures timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Performs analysis, development, and implementation of processing approaches for electronic files and related services pursuant to applicable ESI specifications.
Consults with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications, and participates in teleconferences with co-counsel, client agencies, and opposing counsel.
Evaluates incoming productions to determine if they are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides case attorney with detailed notice of deficiencies.
Provides status updates on activities in the Lab to the COR, e.g. deadlines, technical challenges, and availability of resources to complete work.
Manage Lab staff in providing Relativity webhosting support
Manages a team of eDiscovery professionals situated in a client-site eDiscovery laboratory, including scheduling, requirements assessments, assigning work and ensuring deadlines are met, creating progress reports, and Quality Control (QC) of deliverables.
Advises Department of Justice attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM); especially: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent), preferably in computer science or related field.
At least eight years of experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis and review.
At least five years of experience at the management/supervisory level.
Requires thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process, and the EDRM workflow.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Law degree, advanced technical certifications, or other pertinent graduate degree valued
Administering Technology Assisted Review experience is a plus
Experience with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, MS Office Suite, and Blackout valued.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
