Description
The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a developer to support the FAA’s System Operations Security Group (AJR-2) by developing and presenting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and other associated applications from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Software Engineer and Release Manager to manage multiple custom applications while delivering dynamic user experiences. Additionally, the successful candidate will work with a development team to resolve issues and effectively manage release process improvements while maintaining data integrity.
Primary Responsibilities
You will assist AJR-2 in identifying metrics and key performance indicators that will portray AJR-2's mission accomplishment through custom applications to diverse audiences. Must be able to leverage existing FAA capabilities (such as ARCGIS, Tableau, MS Power Automate, KSN, MS Teams) to develop and present custom applications such as the FAA GPS Automation Portal (FGAP). You will maintain the underlying FGAP data structures, including moratoriums and GIS linkages. Identify and track all FGAP issues and requested features and work with a development team to resolve issues while maintaining data history and integrity.The contractor may also recommend other capabilities to augment those already extant within FAA. The contractor will assist AJR-2 in automating business processes. This includes interviewing business process owners to identify the steps, communications and processes involved, soft-coding the process into a suitable BPM Automation tool, testing the process, and then assisting AJR-2 in rolling out the automated version, to include development of landing pages, customer instructions, and documentation of the process. The contractor will develop these automated business processes based on the priorities established by AJR-2. (At this time there are about 20 processes the customer intends to automate.) Overall, the contractor must help integrate all the activities within this subtask to ensure a unified, coordinated, and integrated effort in which data sources, dashboards, and business processes are developed in a harmonious manner.

Pay Range:Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
