Leidos is seeking an initiative-taking and tactical Senior Program Manager (PM) with excellent management and technical expertise. The Senior Program Manager is a key bid for a large 5 year application development and IT program located in the Reston and WMA area.
This position requires technical acumen to oversee a complex, multi-disciplinary engineering program in an innovative, and dynamic work environment. The PM is responsible for the activities related to the development and sustainment of the applications and capabilities managed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the application development, IT infrastructure, and innovation central to the most critical intelligence for our nations Department of Defense. This critical, no-fail mission will have a direct impact on the national security of the U.S. on a daily basis. The intelligence information and intelligence requirements handled by this program are used to make decisions at the highest levels of our Federal Government. The PM will be in a high visibility position requiring the utmost trust and confidence in their ability to execute mission.
Primary Responsibilities• Serves as the main Point of Contact (POC) for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and the Government Program Manager.• Directly responsible for program efforts, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimating and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.• Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that incorporates all projects into one consolidated view that depicts the overall program schedule status and individual application schedules.• Perform day-to-day management of overall contract operations.• Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on assigned contract tasks.• Communicate issues and solutions to the broader Government management structure as requested by senior Government leaders.• Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross-disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues.• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities.• Provide identified technical documentation and support required gate and milestone meetings and project reviews as needed.• Provide support staff for base work as well as optional and surge support.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience• Bachelor’s Degree and 14 years of related work experience with at least a portion of experience within the last 2 years. Master's degree and 10+ years experience.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to executives.• Demonstrated IT program management experience (3 yrs.), with a strong technical background with experience in data management, cloud engineering, and/or software development.• Experience in managing large IT programs with more than 75 employees.
Clearance Requirement • MUST possess an active and in-scope TS/SCI Polygraph

Pay Range:Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
