Leidos, is seeking a talented Receiving Quality Inspector to join the Leidos / Dynetics Defense Sector Operation.The QA Receiving Quality Inspector will be responsible for verifying that electro-mechanical parts and assembled hardware meet specified Purchase Order (P\ O) Quality Note Clauses, Drawing/Specification, work procedures etc. as well as assisting in documenting work. Examples of hardware are PCBA, cable assemblies, structural hardware, Integrated Assemblies, Special Processing (chem-film, paint/prime etc.) and providing test support etc. Other duties may include performing receiving inspection and setting up and measuring parts using standard measuring equipment. The QA Receiving Inspector works under limited supervision and usually acting independently, performs a wide variety of received goods inspection tasks. The QA Receiving Inspector is responsible for the inspection and receipt of incoming goods.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Coordinates the planning and receipt of incoming parts.* Basic Inspection: Receiving parts, visual inspection, inspect part against quality notes (Qnotes), purchase order line notes and PO.* Check quantity of parts delivered against what has been ordered, check revision noted on purchase order against packing list/ and other supporting documentation, check the conditions of the parts to ensure nothing is damaged, Disposition – Transact part to Costpoint.* Experience with (MRB) material review board.
Must have demonstrated experience with standard measurement equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, etc. Review Acceptance Data Packs / First Article inspections.* Must have experience with handling and documenting non-conforming material. Coordinate with purchasing as well as suppliers for the disposition type for the purchase order.* Computer skills: Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word and Microsoft Outlook 365, must have limited to no errors when entering data into the data system.* Must be able to review and interpret purchase order requirements by reviewing quality clauses and q-notes for program contractual requirements and follow the quality receiving inspection work instructions.* Experience with special processes i.e, a chem film, mil spec, deburring, painting and heat treating.Basic Qualifications:
Must posses a high school diploma, GED or equivalent and typically have three to five years relevant experience of electrical / mechanical incoming receiving inspection for quality.
* Experience with AS9100 quality systems, Flight hardware / material, and AS9102 first article inspection.* Deltek Costpoint software experience, Solumina MES experience, Documentum.* Forklift experience a plus.* Must adhere to PPE and safety guidelines for each facility requirements.* Must be able to lift 35 lbs.* Knowledge of technical drawing both electrical and mechanical will be required.* Relevant work experience in a Quality Inspection goods receipt inspection role.* Strong written verbal communication skills.* Team player with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.* Excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with internal / external suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications:*Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) training to understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
* Experience with AS9100 quality systems, Flight hardware / material, and AS9102 first article inspection.* Familiarity of wide range of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug gauges, etc.

Pay Range:Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
