The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Electro-Mechanical Production Technician in our Huntsville, Alabama facility in support of the GETS Program.

Your Main Mission:
As an Electro-Mechanical Production Technician, you will be responsible for all activities related to the assembly of electronic components for the GETS Program.
Duties may include:
Non-repetitive assembly operations
Working from diagrams and drawings
Mechanical assembly
Soldering to J-STD-001 standards
Building prototype assemblies
Cable assembly
Circuit board assembly
Complex wiring
Using hand and power tools
Using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office for work documentation
Diligent documentation for future builds
What Sets You Apart:
Ability to work and learn in a team environment.
Ability to work with functional departments.
High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience.
Experience with soldering and assembling electronics / electronics components and familiar with electronic assembly industry standards, including ESD practices and procedures.
Must have J-STD-001 soldering Certification or ability to obtain (position contingent of obtaining).
Ability to interpret drawings and follow written instructions.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.,)
Costpoint experience is a plus.
Ability to follow safety protocols.
Ability to maneuver 25 lbs. with assistance.
Experience in defense contracting environment with multiple ongoing projects/contracts.
You Might Also Have:
Current J-STD-001 soldering Certification.
Rework experience
Education & Experience:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $33,150.00 - $59,925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
