Summary of Job:
The Safety Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and project support to Safety groups.
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years clerical work
- A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel and Word, and the ability to be trained in the use of the company-specific applications and software
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of, and exposure to, Human Resource information systems; Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications including Microsoft Teams and Power BI as needed. Familiarity with Workday HRIS a plus.
- Excellent computer skills and adept at working with internet search engines.
- Experience drafting written communication for internal and external audiences desired.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to develop strong working relationships with people of all business and professional levels
- Ability to skillfully gather and analyze information, interpret difficult situations, and quickly make recommendations for resolution; creative problem-solver with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues in a timely fashion
