Summary of Job:
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing organizational safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment across both construction and general industry settings. This role focuses on building strong relationships with employees and managers to support a culture of safety and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Safety or Business related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 - 2 years related experience
- Knowledge and proficiency with Human Resource systems; Solomon Payroll systems; Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed
Skills and Abilities:
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
