The Psychologist I will provide psychological treatment services and/or psychodiagnostic assessments for outpatient clients at the Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation (CASSI, formerly known as the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, or CARD). The Psychologist I will also provide training to parents, paraprofessionals and professionals. Primary clinical responsibilities will be for patients aged 2 through young adult.

- Provide direct fee for service services in the CASSI clinic to include treatment (individual sessions, consultations, dyads and groups, child and/or child/family), and psychodiagnostic assessment (behavioral assessment, psychological testing).
- Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings as needed to discuss and evaluate the diagnoses and treatment/management of patients and formulate rehabilitation plans.
- Provide interpretative information to parents and/or primary caregivers (including teachers, therapists); may provide short-term counseling to parents for effecting changes in child management.
- Initiate and participate in innovative programs and research projects.
- Assist CASSI psychology supervisors in the development of research initiatives.
- Design and conduct presentations nationally, regionally, and locally.
- Assist in preparation of grant proposals for submission
- Assist in preparation of manuscripts for submission for publication.
- Enter reports and patient correspondence into Epic, including entering test data into the department database
- Maintain productivity and reporting standards.
- Primary clinical responsibilities will be for patients ages 2 through young adult.
- Licensure in Maryland.
- Credentialed as a Licensed Psychologist by the Kennedy Krieger Institute Medical Staff.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program.
- Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited predoctoral internship in professional psychology.
- At least one year of postdoctoral fellowship is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in working with children with developmental disabilities (may be satisfied through postdoctoral training in psychology).
