What you will do
The Johnson Controls Systems Integrity Representative (SIR) is responsible for identifying, promoting, and selling Johnson Controls products and services. The SIR is accountable for monthly and annual sales goals for the assigned territory.
How you will do it
The primary role of a Systems Integrity Representative (SIR) is to sell Fire & Life Safety products and services to correct deficiencies found during inspections conducted by Johnson Controls at customer sites.
Quick and efficient quoting of deficiencies will help enable the ongoing protection of our customer’s employees, their assets, and their customers.
Inspections will be completed by Inspectors and Technicians. Inspection reports will be produced by the Inspectors and Technicians, noting Fire & Life Safety system components that are not functioning properly (deficient). These inspection reports will be stored on a shared server and sent to SIR team for quoting.
SIR will specify, describe, and assign a price for resolution of the deficiencies via a quote or proposal. Development of the quotes will be done in close cooperation with the Service team (Inspectors, Technicians, and Service Managers).
SIR will send the deficiency correction quote to customer in a clear and timely manner.
SIR will gain commitment from the customer, over the phone and via email, to perform the work and/or purchase the parts as specified.
SIR will follow up with the customer until the quote is signed or until the customer states that they will not contract with JCI to perform the deficiency corrections.
SIR will log all calls to customers when following up on open quotes.
SIR will pass leads to Service Sales Representatives (ESERVs & SSERVs) for more complicated deficiency correction (large projects, site visits required, other factors).
Upon being selected for the position, candidates must be able to complete all appropriate training.
