What you will do
As a HVAC/R Project Engineer you will ensure that HVAC/R projects meet agreed project dates and margins, minimising the cost of designs and subsequent build of company products, minimising errors, and omissions.
The HVAC/R Project Engineer will provide crucial commercial and design support for a range of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for producing deliverables and liaising with clients to ensure that their requirements are met throughout the projects, whilst maintaining control of engineering changes from both a technical and commercial viewpoint. You will also be the onshore focal point for the offshore team & responsible for project briefings and communicating any challenges or concerns to the client throughout the project.

How you will do it
Liaise directly with clients and end users, sub-contractors and internal departments on all technical matters relating to the design of HVAC/R Systems.
Preparation of work scope specifications.
Execution of onsite surveys to determine the above work scopes.
Responsible for the detailed design and analysis of HVAC/R systems from refrigerated to water based, in accordance with company standards.
Demonstrating and applying knowledge of the applicable HVAC/R codes and standards i.e., F-Gas and BS.
Ensuring that projects meet agreed milestones and targeted margins, minimising the cost of designs and subsequent build of company products.
Utilising various disciplines within a project engineering team to ensure works are efficiently carried out, technically, commercially and to the high standards associated with the company.
Design, supply, installation, and maintenance of HVAC/R onshore and offshore as part of the inclusive ad-hoc nature of the industry.
Production of detailed design and analysis on HVAC/R systems from refrigerated to water based.
Procurement, expediting and delivery of labour and materials to carry out project works.
To ensure, in conjunction with the various departments involved, that all certification and QA / QC requirements for each project are adequately met.
Production of QHSE documentation relevant to tasks i.e., Quantitative and Qualitative Risk Assessments.
To participate in Risk Assessments of package designs, including SIL, HAZID, and HAZOP studies relating to the relevant project specifications and HVAC/R legislation.
Overseeing of projects from survey and design through to completion, including supervision offshore.
Production, filing and tracking of project documentation in line with client SDRL’s.
Preparation, presentation and progress of commercial bids and tenders.

BOSIET/FOET & MIST training desirable
Minimum standard of HNC or equivalent, in Engineering Discipline(s)
Desirable to BSc / BEng standard in Engineering Discipline(s)
