What you will do:
Utilize our people talents to produce at the pace of customer demand using optimal resources achieving lowest cost with Six Sigma quality across the entire Value Stream.
How you will do it:
- Lead cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in People, Quality, Material Flow and Cost.
- Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping)
- Applies DMAIC methodology and Lean tools to lead and/or implement improvement projects at all type of processes.
- Collaborate with CI Manager to assess the Current state of the plant’s Operations; Develop Future State vision and implementation plan.
- Support all CI initiatives, including best practice implementation, while striving to improve Business Metrics
- Work closely with Lean Implementers, others CI teams members and Manufacturing Engineers for processes improvements.
- Coach teammates in understanding Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.
- Follow JCMS Requirements as our business best practices guideline.
- Collaborate with CI Manager to improve site KPIs, including those in the 4 panels charts by using Problem Solving Tools.
- Lead 5S initiatives in the site by training teams and implementing standard work.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant CI Roadmap, bridging business metrics gaps with either: 1. Just Do It improvements, or 2. Lean Implementation projects.
- Assist the Continuous Improvement Manager in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve the site.
- Use manufacturing or industrial engineering knowledge to create missing data basis of the current state for analysis and support decision making for improvements.
- Lead productivity improvement initiatives such as automation, IL/DL work load, etc.
What we look for:
- Professional degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
- Has a solid understanding of manufacturing engineering, lean principles and project management.
- Preferred certification as Green Belt.
- Possesses basic statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvements.
- Preferred experience in SPC and General Manufacturing Processes. Desirable to be computer literate and proficient in the use and application of programs such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MiniTab, Power BI.
- Needs to have English language proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Highly effective leadership and program management skills, able to manage both vertically and horizontally.
- Within the organization, consistently achieves “Excellent” overall ratings in annual CID reviews. Exceptions to these criteria must be reviewed by the General Manager.
