What you will do
Under general direction, the Project Manager will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. This role will also be key to working with and integrating our IT Development Teams, our Program Office to meet the Business needs.
How you will do it
Plan and implement projects – a clear understanding of the of the project scope, goals and deliverables within a specified timeframe.
Define tasks and required resources – with an understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, implement a Best-in-Class plan that satisfies the needs of the business
Collect and manage project team – working with the stakeholders of the different organizations, Business, Development, Change Management, etc … Identify ownership
Manage the project budget – working with Finance to manage our Capital and Operational budgets to deliver our financial budget results for each fiscal year
Allocate project resources – From the project team identify the individual lead contributors and create a plan which is fully resource loaded with cost
Create a project schedule and timeline – Project Schedules will be created with a backward pass methodology, which will ensure we deliver on time by early identification of resource gaps
Support and direct team – On a weekly basis provide oversight and direction to keep the team on track to motivated to deliver full scope on time
Lead quality assurance – Ensure all quality metrics have been satisfactorily implemented, executed and meet KPI’s
Report on the project status – On a weekly basis update the stakeholders on the project status ensuring the project has been “Statused” per PMP guidelines
Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions – while the weekly project update we will as a project team agree on mitigation plans, prior to stakeholder meetings. Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project outcomes
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business requirements. Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes.
Adhere to the JCI internal product development process, holding team members accountable for their deliverables in accordance with requirements and verifying completion of each deliverable
Demonstrate the organization's values by example, promptly address issues with managers, share best practices, advocate for the brand, and foster a positive work environment.

Required
Experience in developing project plans, project management and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
8-10 years of experience in project / product management, business systems analysist
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Certificates:
PMP – Project Management Professional
Agile Certificate
Preferred experience with Johnson Controls Products and Configuration Tools
Expert in PMP Software (MS-Project, Monday, etc … )
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
