With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Inspector to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As an Experienced Sprinkler Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of fire sprinkler systems across various facilities. Your expertise will contribute to the safety and protection of our clients' assets and personnel. You will conduct thorough inspections, identify potential issues, and provide comprehensive reports to clients, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA codes, local regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
Conduct functional tests of sprinkler control valves, systems, and associated equipment to verify proper operation.
Inspect piping, fittings, and connections for signs of corrosion, leaks, or damage, recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
Document inspection findings accurately and comprehensively, including deficiencies, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing technical guidance, answering questions, and addressing concerns regarding fire protection systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate scheduling, prioritize inspections, and maintain efficient workflow.
Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection or sprinkler system inspection.
Certification as a Sprinkler Inspector from a recognized organization (e.g., NICET, NFPA) preferred.
Proficiency in interpreting schematics, and technical documents related to fire protection systems.
Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards, NFPA-25.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20.52 USD - $23.67 USD xx (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
