As a Collections Analyst in our Order to Cash team, you will work closely with our customers in Europe. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and ensuring the accurate release of orders, as well as maximizing timely and efficient payment from our customers.
How you will do it
Manage a broad range of Johnson Controls customer portfolios
Oversee collection processes and provide exceptional customer service when needed
Address customer queries or issues by raising cases and resolving them
Collaborate with other finance operations to exchange information related to billing, collections, and cash application
Maintain accounts and expected payment dates by communicating with customers to ensure prompt payment
Analyze various accounts receivable reports to develop strategic plans and establish priorities
Utilize Excel and learn to access data from systems like SAP
Assist the business by understanding customer payment challenges and conducting case research to resolve billing and customer service issues
What we look for
Required
Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English and French at a C1 level
Self-management abilities with strong organizational skills
Team player with a proactive approach and problem-solving mindset
Innovative thinker always seeking opportunities to improve
Preferred
Previous experience in credit and collections, billing and disputes, customer service, inside sales, accounts receivable, or accounts payable
Experience with using SAP
Knowledge of Excel functions such as pivot tables, V-Lookups, and basic formulas
Ability to perform accounts reconciliation
Experience working in a shared service center or outsourced environment
