About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Your expertise and dedication will be critical in helping our patients recover from injuries and illnesses and regain their independence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Specialization in a particular area of Physical Therapy
- Experience working with patients of all ages
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess their condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients using a variety of techniques and modalities
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to improve their condition and prevent future injuries
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Skills:As a Physical Therapist, you will use your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as with other healthcare professionals. You will use your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to develop treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs. You will also need to be able to use a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients achieve their goals. Finally, you will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
