JOB SUMMARY
Entry-level diagnostic (debug) technician/programmer. Responsible for the In-Circuit Test Engineering Process and the attributes that can affect the process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Increase production yields in a real-time fashion by interpreting and analyzing data, then applying process fixes for certain NDF-type failures to hit department goals, and/or driving manufacturing issues to the appropriate department for root cause and corrective action.
Become proficient in fixture mechanics: including probe replacement, fixture hardware repair / replacement, and fixture operation.
Become proficient in lower-level software debugging, including shorts, JX/OX, pins, testjet, and analog type failures.
Apply analysis and repair in order to meet department goals for minimal test downtime.
Provide solutions and training of high-level diagnostic issues to the diagnostic technicians.
Prevent ICT test escapes.
Update and generate documentation as required.
Maintain a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals while performing the assigned test duties.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent with 1-5 years of relative experience in debugging, testing, and/or repairing computer hardware (motherboards, DIMMs memory, CPUs, etc.)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must have previous experience using Linux software
Ability to lift and load up to 25 pounds continuously
Understanding of SSH or Telnet and how computer POST work
Mid-level knowledge in BMC/IPMI
Experience with FW (firmware) updates via ssh and using ethtool, ncat, imitool, and smart preferred
Must have some demonstrated experience to perform the below.
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Apply of various programming languages and editors, including but not limited to: BT-Basic, vi, and emacs.
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.

Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
