A Day in the Life:
The Damage Resource Manager is the initial point person for all administrative and analytical functions within operations at a zone level. They will oversee zone systems, vending, record management, and purchases. This individual will also be a second review for body damage and salvage agreements, as well as the escalation point for Maintenance Managers who need support in working with vendors.
Salary range starting at $64,000/yr
What You’ll Do:
- Drive damage collection financial results for their respective zone
- Manually research each damage charge (VDA estimate and Glass) for their respective zones in QCS, FileNet, and Case Manager systems
- Develop and distribute reporting on Pre-Rental Photos
- Drive performance and compliance on Pre-Rental Photos
- Develop and distribute reporting on Insurance Compliance
- Drive performance and compliance on Insurance compliance
- Develop and distribute reporting on QCS estimating compliance with claims data
- Review all damage liquidation and salvages for debit card violations for their respective zones
- Review closed claims to ensure no errors occurred resulting in a loss of collection
- Perform site visits to ensure locations are following all processes to ensure collectability of damage
- Develop and lead in person and virtual training on all aspects of damage collection to the field in their respective zones
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years’ experience in Rental Car or Damage processing
- 2+ years’ prior management preferred
- Bachelors in Business or related field preferred
- Moderate experience with Microsoft Suite and QCS a plus
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
- Ability to influence
