We are looking for a Senior Country Operations Analyst to join us as a key team contributor focused on providing technical and functional support of client software applications, networks and client systems used by Heidelberg Materials North America. This role will also act as a leader to the local team, with the role based in Irving Texas and reporting directly to the Manager – Country Operations.
What you will get to do
- Maintain expertise in Windows based client system hardware, desktop software, WAN, LAN and supporting infrastructure.
- Provides technical and functional support other IT teams as required.
- Monitor and manage team ticket queue to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests within SLAs.
- Participate in various project teams as assigned.
- Manage support vendors and consultants to address support issues.
- Performs tasks as assigned by the Manager, NAM Country Operations.
- Contribute to documentation and training programs to assist IT teams
- Up to 30% travel may be required depending on support and project requirements.
- Occasional support work outside of regular business hours is required.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Proficient in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Project and Visio.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in the development of documentation to support functional specifications, data flows, etc.
- Possess strong LAN, WAN networking skills in a Cisco based environment.
- Keen interest in new technologies and the vision to identify opportunities for improving team processes.
- University degree or equivalent in related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant IT work experience.
- Knowledge and experience within the construction materials industry is an asset.
- Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent experience
