Credit Business Analyst – Invoice-to-Cash (Hybrid)
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Credit Business Analyst to join our team in Irving, Texas.

What you’ll get to do
- Act as a subject matter expert on Credit and Accounts Receivable data, its source systems, the business transactions and processes that create, impact and transform that data

- Gather and analyze data to create high-quality and actionable reporting to empower decisions and aid in the transparency of performance measurements
- Optimize analysis and reporting processes to ensure accuracy of data, efficiency in preparation and timeliness of delivery
- Investigate anomalies discovered in data analytics and propose action(s) to resolve
- Define and document clear and consistent end-to-end processes in support of all assigned deliverables
- Identify and manage opportunities to drive improvements in the end-to-end I2C process stream.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders, I2C Business Process Owners, NAM Digital (IT Dept), I2C Management, NAM Shared Service Center (SSC) Accounting, and others in the business organization to drive projects to successful outcomes
- Facilitate discussions with team members, subject matter experts and management members to discover and document process improvements ensuring alignment of objectives and priorities
- Define functional requirements to initiate change and/or close process gaps
- Initiate and manage process improvement activities and ensure effective governance and risk controls exist
- Evaluate the system's compliance with the business requirements and verify that the application meets the required criteria for delivery by executing regression and acceptance testing
- Perform production verification testing to ensure that changes released are working as intended in their new and final environment; measure the effectiveness of the new and standardized process(es) once implemented.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, with concentration in Accounting, or Finance Analytics
- Three to five years of experience in credit, financial reporting, process optimization, business analysis, project management or business management
- Demonstrates commitment and engagement through extraordinary work ethic

- Critical thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Quickly and positively adapts to change
- Expert in data analytics and reporting using Business Intelligence Tools
- Proficient in transactional ERP environments, especially SAP and JDE
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Analysis and pivot tables
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Engages coworkers and works collaboratively as part of a team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Functional and/or administrative knowledge of GetPaid and Dun & Bradstreet Finance & Analytics
- Working knowledge of Analysis for Excel, Business Objects, Essbase, Celonis, or Tableau
- Insight into SAP Customer Master and Credit Master data and processes
