Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Director of Marketing to join our team in Irving, Texas. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies across all digital and traditional channels, managing brand identity, and driving growth through innovative marketing initiatives. Key focus areas include continuation of driving the Company’s recent rebranding efforts as well as integrating key sustainability and digital strategic enablers to support implementation of overall long-term strategy.
What you will get to do
• Digital Marketing Management:
o Oversee content development and implementation for all digital channels, including the company website, social media marketing platforms, paid advertising campaigns, search engine marketing (SEM), and search engine optimization (SEO).
o Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.
o Analyze digital marketing metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance.
• Traditional Marketing Management:
o Lead marketing efforts for face-to-face interactions, trade shows, print advertisements, and other traditional marketing channels.
o Coordinate and manage participation in industry and trade association events and trade shows to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
o Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
• Brand Management:
o Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing channels and materials.
o Develop and implement brand strategies to enhance the company’s market position and reputation.
o Create content for company brand, sustainable products, and projects for external communications.
o Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
• Team Leadership:
o Manage website development and vendors.
o Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the Governmental Affairs and Communications Department.
o Set clear goals and objectives for the marketing plan and content development.
o Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team member(s).
• Budget Management:
o Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.
o Monitor and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Operations, HR, Environment & Sustainability, and Digital (as well as other applicable teams) to align marketing strategies with business goals.
o Communicate marketing plans and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
