Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Accounting Support Specialist to join our team in Irving, Texas.
The P2P (Procure to Pay) Specialist – Accounts Payable is responsible for evaluating and identifying process inconsistencies and improving process efficiency. The right candidate will be a skilled communicator, adept in business analysis and process oriented.
What you’ll get to do
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
- Identify gaps between existing processes and recommend process improvement areas
- Facilitate sessions with operations, subject matter experts, and/or business owners
- Lead the charge to bring new innovations
- Delivery and ongoing maintenance of interactive process related training and clear and consumable on-the-job “how to” documentation for P2P
- Support and communicate the BSC (Business Service Center) P2P change requirements
- Review/monitor weekly Tableau reporting
- Mindset that supports process transformation and continuous improvement
- Provide backup for other team members within the department
- Along with any additional tasks assigned
Experience and Skills
- Proven results with process efficiency and documentation
- Solid computer skills including MS Office and SAP other, ERP systems knowhow
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Procure to Pay (P2P) in-depth knowledge
- Past experience with system migration
- Project management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid communication

- Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
