Are you excited to put the classroom knowledge you have learned so far into action? Come spend the summer of 2025 with an industry leader in building materials. We are seeking students who are looking to be part of a dynamic team of digital transformation experts, focused on delivering customer value and distinct customer experiences in the building materials industry. This position will have the opportunity to tackle new challenges and projects and gain real world working experience. You will have lots to talk about when you return to school in the fall!
- Support digital transformation initiatives by creating processes to get our digital tools into the hands of our customers across North America easier and faster
- Understand the status quo for onboarding access to our digital tools, spend time analyzing data, and create a clean set of processes to execute on a go-forward
- Analyze competing digital solutions in the industry to see what our gaps may be
- Work together with colleagues across the globe
- Learn about the building materials industry, the products we sell, and how they are made
- Commitment and engagement through a high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company
- Summer Projects vary in scope and size just as our products do. By the end of the summer, you will have had the opportunity to work with some of our industry’s best and brightest managers

This position will be based at our corporate office in Irving, Texas . Our corporate office supports the Heidelberg Materials businesses across North America. Amenities include a free fitness center and free covered parking. We also offer “Dress for Your Day” which gives our employees the discretion to select appropriate dress depending on the business activities of each workday.
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors working toward a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, with an interest in digital transformation
- Someone who has an up for anything attitude, interested in learning and growing
- Commitment and engagement through high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company
- Demonstrates openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as work remotely
- Proven project management, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to stay up to date on latest industry trends
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite
