Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Mine Planning Intern to join our team in Irving, TX for the summer of 2025.

What You’ll Get To Do:
- Develop land plans including long term overburden strategies, land option analysis.
- Develop and coordinate implementation of short and long term mine plans.
- Operational support with management systems, budgeting, etc.
- Prepare regular and timely progress and cost reports during the project and manage the process of project completion, acceptance, and closure.
- Support and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide engineering and construction services to Operations for improving operational efficiencies and process flows.
- Summer Projects vary in scope and size just as our products do. By the end of the summer, you will have had the opportunity to work with some of our industry’s best and brightest managers.
- Assignments will involve learning all aspects of managing a quarry or sand & gravel operation, including Mine Planning, Operations optimization, Quality Control, Sales, maintenance, Safety, and more.
- Opportunities will include evaluating the production equipment and mine layout.
