The Role of the Company
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Weighmaster for our Glen Mills, PA aggregate plant.

What you’ll get to do
Do you consider yourself organized and detail oriented? Heidelberg Materials is seeking a candidate who can multi-task and be an integral part of the Glen Mills team.
- Operates the truck scale
- Verifies job assignments previously scheduled by the dispatcher
- Assist with Dispatch to include taking orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Notifies drivers of the product to be loaded
- Weighs loaded trucks and prints the customers ticket for signature
- Maintains radio communication with loader operators and drivers
- Relays information between the drivers, dispatchers and loader operators
- Acts as customer service, offers product information and pricing to drop-in customers
- Handle customer billing, including compiling, preparing, and reconciling invoices and tickets
- Collects and records CODs from drivers
- Reconcile sales data at the end of the day
- Perform other administrative duties and assignments as required
- Fill in at other area plants as needed
What we are looking for
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/office environment desired
- Experience heavy manufacturing Industry preferred
- Proficient administrative skills; previous experience in the scaling function preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Valid PA driver’s license
