Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Senior Technical Services Manager to join our team. This position can be located in either Birmingham, AL or the Tyrone, GA area.

What You'll Get To Do
- Provide leadership in developing and rolling out a comprehensive quality assurance program for eight to ten quality control technicians.
- Provide technical marketing assistance to customers, specifiers, and the internal sales team.
- Work with production and sales organizations to identify and develop opportunities to introduce new or modified products to customer groups.
- Conduct promotional activities within the territory.
- Actively participate in local and national professional associations.
- Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and planning strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong technical and customer service/sales skills required.
- 10 years of experience in cement, aggregate ready mixed concrete or concrete products with operations experience highly preferred.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve internal and external customer concrete concerns.
- Provide support for company training programs.
- Review daily test results for compliance with governing codes and company standards and goals.
- Ability to perform/direct extensive concrete and aggregate testing.
- Experience in resolving technical issues related to materials performance.
- Product knowledge and experience with mix designs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent skills in collecting and organizing data, project management, and writing technical reports.
- Ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
- Commitment to Safety and Company Policies.
- Computer proficiency (thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point).
