Responsibilities:
Content Development and Technical Writing:
- Write, edit, and proofread content for RFP responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and tailor responses to address specific RFP criteria.
- Develop persuasive and customized executive summaries, technical sections, case studies, and other relevant content.
- Translate complex technical information into accessible content for a wide audience, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and update technical documents as needed.
Proposal Management:
- Maintain a proposal content library and templates to streamline the proposal creation process.
- Ensure all proposals are formatted consistently and professionally, adhering to brand guidelines and client specifications.
- Coordinate the proposal development process, including scheduling, task assignments, and deadline management.
Presentation Support:
- Assist the business development team by developing engaging presentations for client meetings, pitches, and internal reviews.
- Create compelling slides that effectively communicate key messages and support overall presentation goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in proposal writing, technical writing, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to enhance proposal content.
- Familiarity with RFP databases and proposal management software (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio).
- Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
- Knowledge of best practices in proposal writing and technical documentation.
- Portfolio showcasing your writing work.
