Haven Behavioral Health Hospital of Albuquerque is seeking an experienced psychiatric nursing professional, to join team as a RN House Supervisor.
Our RN House Supervisor with work collaboratively, with our Director of Nursing to ensure delivery on Haven Behavioral Health’s mission to partner with communities and families to improve the lives of patients through the delivery of high quality specialty behavioral health services.
We are seeking candidate that have a strong passion and calling to serve those who suffer with mental health and addiction issues. They are able to see past the stereotypes, connect with our patient, and see them as the people they truly are.
This position assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts, while providing support to the nursing staff on all units.
The house supervisor oversees the daily nursing operations, for our two units, ensuring the coordination of high quality care.
In this role the house supervisor will also assist the Director of Nursing in crafting and implementing process improvement, education and employment engagement initiatives.

POSITION SUMMARY
• Provides oversight for the provision of care for a 48 bed hospital
• Serves as a resource to the direct care staff.
• Coordinates on-site response to incidents, errors and sentinel events.
• Provides support to the DON with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned.
• Provides direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary and/or assigned.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE: Two years as Registered Nurse with one year acute psychiatric experience and one year management experience preferred.
