Summary:
The Lead Interventional Radiologic Technologist is an advanced technical position that provides clinical expertise and education to the interventional department, to ensure that a high quality service to our patients. The Lead Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex Neuro and Interventional invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment of patients and are expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Works with chemotherapy agents, cements, and embolization agents. This position is 100% clinical/non-administrative and provides oversights for off-shifts. May require mandatory call as needed.
