Job Summary We’re seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for primary coverage of the greater Watertown region. Opportunities may be available towards Torrington and/or Prospect/Hamden as well – just let us know what’s best for you! The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation for homebound patients referred for therapy. Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, restore and remediate, in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Reports to Manager. We believe in high standards. Qualifications
• OT experience required. May consider past home care COTA experience. • CPR certification required at time of start. • Graduate of Occupational Therapy Program from an accredited American Occupational Therapy Association school, BS degree or entry level master's degree. • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) License required. • Experience in mental health treatment, conducting evaluations, group facilitation skills preferred.
