Our physician led medical group enjoys an excellent reputation with patients and the medical community, offering primary care, urgent care and more than 30 different specialties.Job DescriptionResponsible for ensuring high quality of patient care.Carries out departmental policies and procedure to ensure compliance with rules/guidelines.Performs data collection, chart reviews and other assigned task as requested by Program Medical Director and Operational Leadership.Maintains active clinical duties as assigned. Promote excellent communications and coordinating quality care to the patients in our program.Collaboration with clinical and operational leadership to inspire and encourage team members, guiding them through change processes with skill and sensitivity.Support of clinical initiatives and innovation within the program under the direction of the Program Medical Director and Operational Leadership.
·See patients independently on Medical Weight Loss RN schedule. Triage phone calls, complete medication prior authorizations. Complete training and education for clinical and administrative office staff. Maintain standard work related to clinical duties and perform regular observation and quality assurance on clinical support.
·Observes and evaluates existing practices and policies, makes recommendations for change when necessary and then re-evaluates the system to determine if the changes are effective.
·Conducts data analysis and identifies opportunities for improvement in nursing services. Assists in implementing and revising program policies and facilitates understanding, implementation and compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
·Implements clinical support staff orientation and educates on best practices for innovative procedures to improve the quality of work.
·Perform other related tasks as assigned by Program Medical Director or Operational Leadership.
Qualifications
·Associates of science in Nursing
·Active CT License
·5-8 years of clinical or programmatic nursing
·Epic experience
