Position Details:
Hartford Healthcare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urology, Surgery, and Surgical Subspecialty team at Backus Hospital. The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will be an essential part of the multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care for a wide variety of surgical patients encompassing numerous subspecialties including urology, OBGYN, Uro-GYN, Breast Surgery and Plastic Surgery. APPs are involved in all aspects of surgical care such as managing surgical inpatients, admissions and consultations, operative first-assist, and bedside procedures.
Role: Open to Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Location:326 Washington Street, Norwich, 06360
Setting: Inpatient. Urology, surgery, and surgical subspecialties
Schedule: Full-time, rotating three to four 10-12 hour shifts per week. Primarily weekdays!
Call schedule: No call
