Job Description
- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
- Experience Desired: Knowledge of Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems and Learning Resource Center
- Education Desired: Bachelor's Degree
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and assign daily and weekly assignments to department team members; ensure that all work is done on a timely basis and that all department Team Members are properly trained. Conduct training of all managers and supervisors on Warehouse Management and Labor Management systems.
- Manage the issuance of daily and weekly PCWs and create corresponding disciplinary letters, ensuring accuracy of information and compliance with RSCs Labor Standard Agreements. Coordinate and oversee observations for disciplined Team Members with operations team.
- Oversee and monitor new hire productivity progression and labor performance compliance; create and manage tracking and discipline system to maintain consistency with new hires.
- Manage all labor and safety disciplinary files. Prepare all documentation for safety and/or labor-related terminations. Monitor and record positive and negative safety incidents; provide management with recommended discipline for safety infractions to ensure consistency across all buildings.
- Consolidate daily reports including GNEW, Daily Gap, Through Put, and Warehouse Labor to be used for weekly calls and mailings throughout the Giant Eagle network. Update weekly Key Performance Indicator ("KPI") sheets.
- Update the LM system with weekly and yearly bids; manage all new hires and terminations into or from the LM and WM Manhattan systems; manage the incentive database to provide payroll with weekly data.
- Supervise all delay slips; create and distribute daily/weekly/monthly tracking reports to correct system and supervisor errors for all buildings. Identify and correct discrepancies in tracking system.
- Manage and maintain record-keeping of all safety scripts and files.
