Procurement Analystat GDIT. Here, you'll support solving some of our clients' biggest challenges and help us grow the business.GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our team as part of our Supply Chain organization. This Procurement Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the team and our suppliers on expediting orders, tracking upcoming deliveries, identifying potential new suppliers, and identifying alternate parts opportunities.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Extract reports from the procurement system and identify upcoming deliveries
- Track upcoming deliveries with suppliers and identify orders that are at risk of being late
- Update the procurement system with any shipping updates provided by the suppliers
- Research potential new suppliers that could be considered for a new partnership
- Review high risk or long lead time parts and work with the program and supplier base to determine potential alternate parts for consideration
- Other administrative tasks that may be required by the manager
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of related experience; OR In lieu of degree, 6 yrs of related experience is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience in administrative duties or familiarity with fulfillment/supply chain process is highly desired
- Proficient experience in using Excel for reporting . Pivot Table creation experience is highly preferred.
- Professional and Clear written/oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and track work daily
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
