HOW AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Administrative Assistant (AA) will provide direct administrative support to the Chief of Staff
The AA will be the action officer responsible for managing all taskings into the Sponsor Office and ensuring responses are well-written, comprehensive, and timely submitted
The AA will also serve as the backup AA for the Front Office AA IV
The AA's authority and need for discretion is significant due to the Front Office environment and sensitivities of the Sponsor identity program
The AA will be expected to have significant written and verbal interaction with all levels of Office staff including senior-level Sponsor Officers
All duties will take place in the Sponsor Front Office. Core hours will be coordinated with the Chief of Staff, in coordination with the Staff EXO to ensure coverage for the FO
The AA is the primary focal point for all taskings to the Sponsor Office
The AA will be responsible for managing the full cycle of taskings sent into the Sponsor Office including: ensuring appropriate Sponsor component is aware, follow-up to ensure completion, review response for clarity, ensure Sponsor leadership provide final review, and ultimately bring the task to completion
The AA must have exceptional writing and communication skills and will have access to the Share Drive to ensure accurate record keeping for all official taskings for the Sponsor Office
The AA will be required to prepare daily day books consisting of meeting prep materials for the Sponsor Office Director and Deputy Director
These materials will primarily consist of Microsoft Office products and PDFs
The AA is not expected to attend or participate in briefings/meetings or produce minutes/summaries
The AA will be required to coordinate and communicate with appropriate POC's if materials are not received in a timely manner
The AA will review and track official correspondence created by, or for coordination and signature by the Director and Deputy Director
The AA will be the back-up to the EXO to manage the two shared conference room schedules and coordinate with the staff
The AA will also be the back-up to the AA IV for the office supplies of the FO as needed and as needed for calendars to the two principal support Directors and 3 group chiefs.
The AA is expected to work five (5) days a week, except holidays and prior approval of leave
Travel is not expected
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
The position requires High School Diploma and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Core hours will be 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, schedule will be worked out upon arrival
Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
This position is on customer site

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $27.82 - $34.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
