GDIT's Health and Human Services (HHS) business area is seeking a Solutions Director supporting various HHS programs/ customers.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Set and lead the strategic vision and technical direction of Data & Analytics/AI/ML initiatives to address our nation’s most pressing challenges in the federal civilian health sector.
- Lead client engagement and technical solutioning in partnership with our Health Account leaders guiding our commitment at the intersection of Health, technology and innovation.
- Develop and oversee strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve citizen outcomes as part of the GDIT’s Health capabilities, leveraging expertise in the strategic integration of AI into health settings.
- Manage strategic investments in Data, Analytics & AI innovation while exploring emerging technologies at the intersection of AI, health, and operations, such as predictive maintenance for medical equipment and AI-enhanced patient experiences.
- Shape GDIT’s Data, Analytics & AI talent strategy, focusing on attracting, training, and retaining top talent specialized in health applications, building a highly skilled technical team capable of addressing complex mission-critical challenges from strategy to execution across health mission areas.
- Assist in capture strategies, client engagement, operations, procurement processes, as needed, across Federal Health Sector by leveraging current client relationships and forging new ones
WHAT YOU'LL NEED (REQUIRED):
- Bachelor’s degree or additional work experience (4 years) in lieu of degree.
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience with designing, developing, or integrating data, analytics, or AI technologies for health applications, including clinical or operational, from early strategy to production deployment and adoption.
- Experience with identifying, developing, and mentoring staff at all levels and capable of building high functioning teams to deliver exceptional quality and innovative analytics services.
- Experience with developing and implementing successful market strategy and business development and leading proposal, project, and intellectual capital creation.
- Experience with project management to include strong client relationship management and building skills.
- Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Data Modeling, Data Lake & Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric and Data Governance.
- Experience in implementing AI including Generative AI
- Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks and big data technologies like Databricks.
WHAT WOUld BE EVEN BETTER (PREFERRED):
- Experience with operating in a complex, cross-functional organization where teams must collaborate and integrate with other multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in creating effective frameworks to aid the discussion of complicated technical topics.
- Experience in making strategic impact at an executive level to include collaborating with leaders on difficult issues and applying sound judgment and analysis toward important business decisions.
- Experience acting in a proactive and passionate fashion relating to organizational health topics including inclusion and diversity, growth and development of ICs and people leaders, and functional excellence.
- Ability to display a reputation as a trusted thought leader at the intersection of Analytics, AI and health or the life sciences.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills including being articulate with both technical and non-technical business partners.

The likely salary range for this position is $185,300 - $250,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
