GDIT has a career opportunity for a Network Administrator to join our Worldwide Field Support Contract at Ft. Bragg, NC. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance.Qualified candidate will operate as the Information Management Officer (IMO) with Workstation Administration credentials between the Corps G4 and the Fort Bragg Network Enterprise Center (NEC) regarding all issues of automation.
How you'll make an impact:
- Be capable of supporting approximately 90 users and 110 computer systems, eight cell phones, 4 VTC devices, several Multi-Functional Printer/Scanners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any network/computer incident response for their staff section and report any cross-domain violations, malware, or suspicious network activity to the Corps G6.
- Create and maintain a system tracker that documents all information (name, MAC address, MFG, models, etc.) technology devices in their section including, but not limited to, computers, printers, cell phones, VoIP phones and video teleconferencing systems (VTC).
- Submit trouble tickets to the Army Enterprise Service Desk and/or the G6 help desk to process any actions that are beyond the abilities of the IMO.
- Submit for waivers for the procurement of IT systems (i.e. computers, printers, hard drives, etc.) organic to the G4 in the information technology approval system (ITAS).
- Maintain ATC database and notify users of mandatory training requirements. Submit required forms for users to the G2/S2 for clearance verification and final submission to the FB NEC.
- Maintain account with DISA to make assignment changes for government cell phone users. Configure cell phones IAW DISA instructions.
- Configure workstations IAW Bitlocker requirements, add printer drivers, assist users with software installations as needed.
- Perform remediation fixes for computers with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot day to day problems with computer hardware, networking, security, Microsoft products and other software.
What you need to be successful:
- BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience (will also consider other combinations of years of experience, education and certifications).
- Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
- Security+ prior to start date.
Requires Workstation Administrator credentials:(a) Acquire a Microsoft Windows 10/11 certification or complete all Skillport courses for Windows 10/11. (Army is moving to Windows 11 soon)(b) In compliance with DOD directive 8570.01, complete an IAT level II DOD approved baseline certification.
