Supervises up to 15 employeesManages and oversees the Northeast and West assignment groups for all On-Site Desk Side Support task. Will be participating in project planning, acting as a communication liaison, coordinating labor needs, and training employees. Perform daily oversight of team activities and will be the primary point of contact for Northeast and West Region.GDIT JOB DESCRIPTION:Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting.May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s).Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.Coordinates risk tracking process.Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison.Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders.Coordinates development of deliverables and products.Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.SCOPE OF ROLE: Supervises a small team focused on one or a few disciplines. Low complexity. Direct reports are typically non-exempt.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experienceSCOPE: Manages or supervises one or more small to medium sized teams consisting of a few or multiple disciplinesDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience, logistic certification. procurement tracking experience. solicitation preparation- process and award.Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of success. Mission oriented.Preferred Skills: 10 years of experience in Leadership or as a SupervisorTwo certifications are required for the program:1. Security+ CE or another 8570 Cert2. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
