Job Description SummaryResponsible for leading the finance activities for the Advanced Combat P&L under Edison Works within D&S. This role will be the primary business partner to the Advanced Combat GM and related functional leadership and will lead a team of 1-2 analysts. This finance role will lead all finance activities focused on current NPI execution, supporting next Gen prototypes & technology opportunities, executing other activities aligned to the growth of the Edison Works portfolio, while also supporting our customer and business priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities
Will be a partner to the product lines and support planning and reporting on programs, and evaluating new business opportunities. Establish and enforce standard work across all programs. May be needed to support DCMA/DCAA audits of processes and as needed, work on updating procedures after findings from audits are reviewed. In addition to the support highlighted above the Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Proactively serve as business partner to business leaders in the formulation and execution of business strategy
- Lead the development, implementation and measurement of financial budgets and key performance indicators and participate in their successful execution
- Communicate business performance and identify growth accelerators
- Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination
- Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business
- Lead the pursuit of excellence in Controllership (e.g., adherence to GE policies, transfer of best practices, internal controls, etc.)
- Provide analysis and recommendations to business partners
- Support BD, Proposal, & Other special projects
- Recruit, mentor and develop Finance talent
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen is required
- Must be able to obtain & maintain US Government Clearance
- Not able to support Remote work
- Location must be in Greater Cincinnati Area
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the area of Finance
