Overview:
This position manages Bank-wide Security Operations activities and staff in support of the Bank's business operations. Manages the 24/7 monitoring, analysis, and first-line technical support for security systems and applications. Manages the security, reception, and patrol functions for corporate and branch facilities. Manages Security Operations' response to incidents and support for events. Serves as a resource on resolving complex, escalated security incidents and operational issues. Assists in managing an annual budget, including forecasting, collaborates with third party security staffing vendors and integrators to achieve desired services and performance, and builds an effective security operations team. Ensures that security operational support and initiatives drive the accomplishment of long-term strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Operations Oversight - Directs Bank-wide Security Operations ensuring optimum services and efficient use of resources. Manages Security Operations' response to incidents and support for events. Serves as a resource on resolving complex, escalated security incidents or operational issues.
- Business Strategy - Builds and drives 24/7 environment, system, application monitoring, support strategies, and security processes in support of business operations. Assists with managing an annual budget including forecasting and preparation of business cases. Represents the interests of business partners and the Corporate Security team while supporting the Bank's overall business goals.
- Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
- Security Strategy - Develops security strategies that mitigate risk and promote a safe, secure working environment. Creates and implements procedures and programs in accordance with Bank Protection Act and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Section 6801 compliance and industry standards. Collaborates with business partners on the appropriate strategies and control measures to mitigate risks within the Bank's risk tolerance appetite.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Retail Bank Operations and Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Retail Bank Operations and Security
Preferred Education: Bachelor
License or Certification Type: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or other equivalent professional certification Preferred
