Overview:
The Enterprise Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all the organization's portfolios of projects, programs, and initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maximize value delivery. They are responsible for Capacity planning and sequencing portfolios to ensure proper planning and decision making can occur. They work closely with the Business Project Management Office and Enterprise Planning. They analyze and report on strategic alignment, capacity, and sequencing of work. They are an integral part of the Project Management Governance framework.

Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management- Lead the strategic planning, prioritization, and governance of the organization's portfolio of projects and programs to ensure alignment with business objectives and resource optimization.
- Strategic Alignment- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define portfolio objectives, strategies, and investment priorities that support the organization's vision and goals.
- Performance Monitoring- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance, health, and value delivery of projects and programs within the portfolio.
- Risk Management- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across the portfolio to minimize disruptions and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Resource Management- Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects and programs to ensure efficient use of budget, workforce, and other resources.
- Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate portfolio status and progress.
- Governance and Compliance- Establish portfolio management processes, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Change Management- Lead change management efforts related to portfolio initiatives by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability.
- Reporting and Communication- Prepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to executive leadership and stakeholders to communicate portfolio performance, status, and recommendations.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $113,153 to $175,000 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Project Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Project Management
Preferred Education: Master's degree in Business Administration
License or Certification Type: Industry certification such as Project Management Institute (PMI) or Six Sigma Required
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5 years) in portfolio management, or related analytical roles required.
- Strong understanding of portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, best practices and change leadership required.
- Strong understanding of different IT delivery methodologies, such as Waterfall & Agile required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills required.
- Exceptional experience with data analytical tools and developing insights for decision making required.
- Experience working with Clarity and Planview required.
- Familiarity with the SDLC and Release Management required.
- Experience with portfolio management tools and software is preferred.
