Overview:
Responsible for contributing towards evolution of the FX Middle Office team, helping the FX trading and sales teams, and improve internal controls and visibility. This position will assist the Foreign Exchange team in streamlining processes, implementing forward thinking technology solutions, helping to manage risk, and providing first class client support.
This position will also collaborate closely with teams across the organization to grow and manage the business. Critical partners include Legal, Compliance, IT, Risk, Operations, Audit, Client Service, FX Sales, and FX traders.
Responsibilities:
- Complete ownership of First Citizen's FX onboarding and implementation process. Including systems administration and external platforms configuration.
- Administration of middle office support activities including but not limited to credit administration, DTCC and LEI monitoring. Ensuring adherence of relevant procedures and KPI's. Including client limits, credit exposure, and daily settlement.
- Recommend enhancements and work with product management team in conjunction with vendors. Full analysis to determine automation practices that can be leveraged into creating a more intuitive client experience and expediting the onboarding process for new and existing clients.
- Support the sales and trading functions while acting as an ambassador for the Foreign Exchange and Cross-Border Payments businesses including setting up client margins in trading platforms and ownership/governance of client pricing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in 3-5+ years' experience in banking or financial services, with a focus in Cross Border Payments, Capital Markets, FX/IR Middle Office OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in 3-5+ years' experience in banking or financial services, with a focus in Cross Border Payments, Capital Markets, FX/IR Middle Office
Preferred Education: BS/BA Degree
